Srijan Das is an Assistant Professor at UNC Charlotte. Before this, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at Stony Brook University, USA. He completed his Ph.D. in computer science at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis, France. He did his Post-Grad in computer science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. His research focuses on video representation learning, utilizing spatio-temporal attention mechanisms, multiple modalities, and both ego-exo centric viewpoints for healthcare applications. He has published several research works in refereed journals and proceedings in the areas of computer vision and pattern recognition including ICCV, ECCV, WACV, etc. He is serving the community by organizing scientific events, reviewing for several international journals and conferences.
